Self-directed project for the Artist Residency programme at Pollock’s Toy Museum

This is a merchandise design for Pollock's Toy Museum. I took part in the museum’s Artist Residency programme in 2022 at its former location on Scala Street in London.

The illustration is carried by a format containing folding and paper-cutting, which also makes the product easy to be manufactured, stored, and posted. The final piece has incorporated vintage toy's quirkiness and retro colour palette, to recreate Noah's Ark, a classic toy in the old times.

Yu-Ching Chiu

Yu-Ching Chiu is an award-winning illustrator who works in the UK and Taiwan. She creates sequential art with a mixture of digital and analogue methods. She is also an artist-educator with over 7 years of teaching experience, and holds a MA degree in Arts and Humanities Education.
